Otros Aires
Is it even necessary to introduce this iconic group, which continues to bring a constantly renewed creative space to tango music? It is always a genuine pleasure for us to welcome Miguel Di Genova, with his creativity, simplicity, openness, natural kindness, and his talent for sharing his newest creations with us.
But perhaps Miles Copeland, manager of The Police and Sting, speaks best about Otros Aires:
“I love music that emerges from a place and evolves into something new, as was the case when working with The Police and their mix of reggae, punk, and rock. I had the same feeling when I heard Otros Aires: their sound was different and exciting.”
With more than 20 years of international career, eight studio albums and one live album, Otros Aires has completed more than 40 world tours and performed in over 200 cities across Europe, North America, and South America.
Their music has been featured in television programs such as Dancing with the Stars in the United States, Strictly Come Dancing in the United Kingdom, and in international tango shows such as Break the Tango by German Cornejo.

Beltango Quinteto
Beltango was founded in Belgrade in 1998 by bandoneonist and composer Aleksandar Nikolic. The orchestra is composed of passionate musicians and tango lovers from the Balkan region. Their explosive music reflects the fire and musical richness of this part of the world.
Beltango performs a wide repertoire of tango music, ranging from traditional tango pieces to the tango nuevo compositions of Astor Piazzolla, as well as contemporary tango. The musicians also present their own compositions through their project Balkango.
With more than 25 years of artistic activity, Beltango has performed over 1,500 concerts in around thirty countries and has participated in countless festivals. The orchestra also performs with symphonic orchestras such as the CRR Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, Wuppertal Sinfonikers, Macedonia Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Vietnam, and more.
As musical directors, Beltango has produced several tango shows, including Tango en mi vida, Balkango, and La Bombonera. The orchestra has shared the stage with some of the world’s greatest tango artists (Miguel Angel Zotto and Daiana Guspero, Sebastián Arce and Mariana Montes…). They have released nine CDs.
Beltango will perform on Saturday evening and again for the despedida, though in completely different styles.

La Tipica de Montpellier
Led by Nahuel Menéndez, the Típica de Montpellier brings together professional and amateur musicians eager to explore the “milonguero” style of tango, reviving the spirit of the great dance halls with live orchestra music.
In Buenos Aires, the traditional tango ensemble is known as an orquesta típica. Before the advent of sound amplification, these orchestras were essential to social dances: the combination of bandoneons, piano, and strings was carefully crafted to fill the milongas without microphones.
Inspired by the tradition of orchestra-schools, our work is rooted in original orchestral scores from the golden age of tango—by composers such as Canaro, Fresedo, Troilo, and Di Sarli—faithfully transcribed instrument by instrument, and complemented by tailor-made arrangements.
