Opéra Comédie – Montpellier

The Opéra Comédie is Montpellier’s famous historic theater. Located in the very heart of the city, it brings life to the large esplanade that bears its name. Designed in the Italian-style theater tradition, with its elegant façade, gilding, and red velvet, it is both a remarkable heritage site and a unique performance venue. Inaugurated in 1888, the Opéra Comédie of Montpellier was designed by architect Joseph-Marie Cassien-Bernard (1848–1926), a student of Charles Garnier.
The milonga on Tuesday, May 13 will take place in the spacious foyers of the Opera, on its magnificent original wooden floor. Limited seating.
