Tango classes
All classes take place at the Espace Culturel José Janson, Avenue Jean-Marc Rouan, 34690 Fabrègues.
Registration for maestro classes must be done with a partner. The name(s) of the partner(s) will be requested when booking. Registration is confirmed once all partners are registered. If you are looking for a partner for the classes, please contact us.
The maestro classes are clearly divided by level, detailed below. To make the most of your lessons, we recommend referring to these descriptions and choosing the classes that best match your level.
Beginner Class:
This is not an introductory class but a class reserved for those who have started tango recently, who have mastered the walk but are still not fully confident with basic figures such as turns, boleos, sacadas, barridas… Choose this level if you want to improve your mastery of the abrazo, connection, and mutual balance in order to approach these figures with better awareness and with consideration for both your partner’s comfort and your own.
Intermediate Class:
This class is intended for those who are already confident in tango. You master the basic elements and figures of tango (pivot, ocho, etc.) and you want to refine them to execute them more smoothly and to start learning more complex figures. You have at least 3 years of experience in social dancing.
Advanced Class or Master Class:
This class is recommended for experienced dancers: you have already been dancing tango for several years, you regularly attend milongas, and you have a good understanding of the rules of the dance floor. You control your axis and have good improvisation skills as well as active listening with your partner. You master complex figures and wish to work on them in depth through long sequences that integrate them, benefiting from the stage experience of high-level instructors.
