Montpellier :
Montpellier city, built 10 centuries ago, it was the second town of France for cultural importance and economical capital. Beautiful antique fountains, middle age street and private buildings built in XVII and XVIII century.


Les plages :

What’s better of putting your own feet in the sea water to better danse the evening during milonga ! You are at 30 min by car from Montpellier to seaside… Carnon and Palavas are touristical centres with shoppings and restaurants, you will find better beaches at ‘Petit Travers’ and ‘Grand Travers’…


Le Val de Gellone :

The Gellon Valley is a jewel case where you find steep cliffs on which the thyme grows as well as oaks and pines. Inside the valley you will find the legendary Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. This village shows their narrow streets under the sun since twelve centuries. It was founded around the Gellone abbey, the village maintains a true middle age atmosphere , showing a rare harmony. This important site is one of the best village in France and its Abbey is in Unesco world heritage because part of the mytic Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago.


Lac du Salagou :

Located to the north of the Herault, the Salagou valley shows a unique landscape. The lake of Salagou was elaborated by the human work for 40 years and mix its deep blue waters with the scarlet of the ‘ruffe’, a 250 million years type of rock.


Pic Saint Loup :

Located close to Valflaunès and Cazevielle, it is visible from a great portion of the Herault region, from seaside and the Gard region. The Pic Saint Loup constitutes a natural site with the Hortus mountain where protected nature is master for hawks. From the top of the mountain, the Pic Saint Loup remains face to elements. A big steel cross is placed on the top as well as an observation house and an acient chapel.


La Camargue :

Modified by the centuries from the Rhone river, the dlta of Camargues is a great site of the ‘provence’ culture and an original space of great qualities : biological richness, animal and floral variety, changing landscapes, agricultural activities… More than 660 different birds from Europe can be observed in Camargue. Among them you will find colonies of rose flamingoes, coloured by the shrimps they eat.


Aigues-Mortes et ses salins:

Surrounded by the ponds, Aigues Mortes is a village with large walls, archaeological rests from the history of crusades and templars. It is a touristical site today plenty of cultural, food, wine richnesses… Its culture around the bull and its unique environment make this a unique place. Its harbour is dry today to leave the space to Salins du Midi, which supply the half of the salt of France ! You can admire them from the heights of the walls of the vllage which dominates the plain of the Camargues.


La Grotte des Demoiselles :

Surrounded by the ponds, Aigues Mortes is a village with large walls, archaeological rests from the history of crusades and templars. It is a touristical site today plenty of cultural, food, wine richnesses… Its culture around the bull and its unique environment make this a unique place. Its harbour is dry today to leave the space to Salins du Midi, which supply the half of the salt of France !
