Opéra Comédie – Montpellier
Inaugurated in 1888, the Opera Comédie of Montpellier is a great italian style theatre. It was designed by the architect Joseph-Marie Cassien-Bernard (1848-1926). Velvet chairs, gilding of frames, interior design in pure italian tradition of theatres, this jewel of Montpellier is a unique performance hall. The first milonga of Festival on Sunday 6th May will be organzed in this prestigious location, thanks to partnership between the Opera National Orchestra of Montpellier and Tang’Heault Montpellier.
Agora, cité internationale de la danse – Montpellier
Old Ursuline convent, the Agora, international city of dance, located at the hearth of Montpellier, is a building recognized within the inventory of the historical monuments. It is a unique location in France and in Europe totally dedicated to creation and sharing of dance. It is the home of the Centre Chorégraphique National of Montpellier and Montpellier Danse, directed by Jea-Paul MONTANARI. The Tuesday 8th May milonga will be organized in the Room Béjart, thanks to partnership between Montpellier Danse and Tang’Herault Montpellier.
Place de la Comédie – Montpellier
The Comédie Place is also called Egg Place because of its oval form. It is known as one of the largest pedestrian areas in Europe, dominated by the Opera Comédie. You an visit the fountain of the Three Graces, goddesses symbol of Montpellier. Surrounding the place are XIX century buildings. It is on this place, close to the statue of the thre Graces where the apero tangos will happen.
Temple de la Danse – Lattes
The Temple of Dance is one of the estabished schools of dance Studio Latino. Tang’Herault Montpellier thanks a lot Fabio AGUILERA, historical representative of local tango to house the milonga of Wednesday 9th May for the Festival TangOsud.
Espace Culturel José Janson – Fabrègues
The Festival will take place excluively at the Espace Culturel José Janson of Fabrègues from the 10th to the 13th of May. You will find a large space with a dancing room of 600sqm equipped by a wooden floor of 240sqm, a 140sqm scene, a 160sqm wooden floor room for the stages, one 160sqm room dedicated to restaurant, and a very large parking.

Room Néotango – Fabrègues
UA 160sqm Néotango room, with wooden floor and special atmosphere, it is proposed to you on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening strating from 9pm, in a room adjacent to the one of traditional tango. You might dance tango on different musics than Tango with a DJ specifically prepared.
SalleRoom after – Fabrègues
The after will take place at the Atelier Danse, a 360sqm room with wooden floor located at 3 min car time from Espace Culturel José Janson.
